Very dull I know but I want a good one, don't mind if it is expensive as long as it makes the job as easy as possible - who can recommend one please? Grin

TIA

I have a fab one from Lakeland - try there?

I ditched my iron and got a Fastpress instead.

Wouldn't be without it now, it's big and clumbersome to store but as for getting through the ironing effortlessly it's spot on.

I have a deLongi steam generating iron - love it.

Jelly - is it really good, easy to use? How about doing fiddly things like shirt collars?

wow - just looked at the delonghi one too - looks impressive! Tefal do one do that is quite a lot cheaper, can't see why though...any idea of how they compare?

I got deLonghi from Robert Dyas when it was in the sale - I keep it on three spots (hottest setting) whatever I iron - steam lasts for about half an hour - it really is good.

check the weight before you buy - I have tennis elbow and find heavy ones awful.

Thanks for help - I have ordered the tefal one, hopefully not too heavy marsbars!
