Housework, love it or hate it?

I used to really envy all those domestic goddess types who loved nothing more than cleaning their homes from top to bottom on a daily basis. I, on the other hand, used to HATE having to do any kind of housework. But now that I'm all grown up with a toddler and my own house, I really like it, and have become quite house proud, and I no longer have to lie to people about how much I enjoy a nice tidy house. (just how clean it is with said toddler living here is another matter). So, just for fun, who likes tidying?

P.s I even like ironing these days!!

Are you sleep deprived?
I hate every bit of it apart from laundry for some reason.

I like having a clean and tidy house (who doesn't?). I don't like cleaning or tidying it however, except for the occasional spring clean.

Maybe the novelty will wear off! I guess all the housework lovers are all to busy hoovering to be wasting time on

In the middle of a seething mood with DH over housework. I like a clean and tidy house but to get it I have to give up any kind of FUN! DH thinks it's a breeze and that means its okay for him to go to Rugby or Football every Saturday and leave me to entertain & educate DS and make dinner and clean the kitchen after, wash his hugh pile of work clothes!!! So just don't get me started. Off to rant on another thread.....

Don't like it at all, but would rather do it than a stressful job outside the home.

MadamDeathstare Before DH and DS I didn't care at all I knew where my stuff was and nothing got lost or broken. But now it just piles up like the rubbish in Naples Smile

Anyone seen that SKY programme Cleanaholics 2 or 3 years ago? I tried to be inspired by the women on it but somehow it just didn't happen.
