is it just me who sometimes wishes (love my mam as i do) that theyd be taught this whole household management doodaa.... ??
after reading various threads like about knickers with tea towels i just think..... i really missed these lessons!!!

yes, no household management training here either! Although I do remember her motto - Always keep the fruitbowl full!

My mum was raised in a hotel where everything was done by the hotel staff so she had to teach herself. I think she herself is only just getting it figured out (she is 68) and I suspect that is because my dad has retired and she gets more help.
She tried to teach me but was flailing herself so tips definitely needed in this household!
