Talk to me about sheets and deep mattresses please

I can't seem to find decent sheets for my new bed. So many beds these days seem to have deep mattresses, but the only sheets I can find are polycotton and I don't want that.

Where did you get yours?

I am getting so sick of having to pull the sheet back over the corner of the mattress every morning. I just want nice sheets which fit. Is that difficult?

Oh and it's made more complicated cos it's a superkingsize.

Muji do nice deep fitted sheets. Ikea, but need to check not polycotton- they vary.

John Lewis sells deep fitted Egyptian cotton sheets in super kingsize.

No Muji near us and online don't seem to sell them.

I never know if Ikea bedding will fit. :ponders:

La Redoute do lots and lots of various sheet sizes. Not sure if they're polycotton though. Could be worth a look.

Ebay put in extra deep fitted sheets I got mine from a shop called curtainsandlinens. HTH

sanderson do some extra deep ones - in egyptian cotton - bit pricey but worth it I reckon.

Northern Nights (ebay and QVC) do their sheets with extra deep pockets. Around 15 inches I think. I think our mattress is around 13 inches and we have a feather bed on top of that too.

I got so fed up with sheets pinging off mattress that we bought flat sheets, and it works a dream. It takes two of us to change the bed, (well it's easier, you could do it on own!) to make it neat and get sheet taut, but once on, it stays nicely. Treated myself to a lovely cotton one from John Lewis, very silky feel.
