a few years ago i got a lovely little dyson baby from mumsnet trial on here. i love it. but am now having to empty it daILY.

but now i live in a house, have an extra dd, and 2 big shedding dogs. we have a mixture of hard floors and carpets.

dd4 has a dustmite allergy as well.

i am loathe to part wih the dyson as it works well, so am looking at keepiing the little one upstairs to deal with the bedrooms (dogs arent allowed upstairs).

so need a different one for downstairs.

needs to cope with shedding animals and able to switch between hard floors and carpets easily.

should i just get a henry? or should i look at somethine else? budget isnt big.

I'd go for a Henry with two dogs. Huge dustbag, good filters and practically indestructable.

Get a Sebo!
Easy to use, very effective and a doddle to change the bags (I loathe Dysons)
We have a very hairy cat and it deals with the shedloads of fur discarded all over the house very easily.
