Tips for cleaning a Moses basket?

I would like to save money and use DD's old Moses basket for when DS is born. We are getting a new mattress but I would feel better having given the basket itself a good clean. Does anyone know how I would go about this?
Any tips would be appreciated.

I'd vacuum it thoroughly with the skinny nozzle you'd use in the car,then sponge it down in a mild soap or Milton solution.

Air dry it if you have somewhere warm enough, or give a good blast with a hairdryer.

the covers came off mine to machine wash,then just give the actual basket a wipe down with antibac cleaner
