Fed up cleaning mirrors and inside windows with Windolene.Despite claims to the contrary, it does streak...Any suggestions for alternatives?

I use a spray made up of white vinegar and water, and a very clean cloth.

missldi · 15/11/2010 10:47

What ratio of vinegar to water?

I just use cold water and a microfibre cloth. No streaks.

What cloth are you using? Scrunched up newspaper is best thing.

abr1de · 15/11/2010 12:10

I use about a quarter to a third vinegar.

Mr. Muscle wiped off with kitchen roll is the best thing I've used. Failing that, dishwasher rinse aid and an e-cloth.

amazonianwoman · 16/11/2010 10:19

E-cloth and water is the best.

Agree that if you must use a cleaning solution, scrunched up newspaper is excellent.

very hot water, a drop of washing up liquid, ordinary cleaning cloth, wipe dry afterwards with towel.

What's an e cloth?
