Please help! Wax on new top!

Today was DD's birthday, and when she blew out the candles on her cake, I got molten wax blown over my new black top.
It's jersey material. Do I freeze it and pick it off, or I recall something about greaseproof paper.
I welcome your advice, wise women of mumsnet.

Put brown paper over it and iron the paper on a very low heat and when you remove paper the wax will be on it x

Thank you, I'll give it a try tomorrow. Smile

Yes, I also use kitchen paper and then iron over it. I use medium heat though. Warm iron is also great for stains on wooden tables, rings from mugs etc.
