Do no scrub bathroom cleaners work?

Hi all.

I'm a new mum with a 4 month old DS and I'm back to work. As a result my house has now gone to pot as I'd rather spend my free time in the evening playing with DS than cleaning and ironing :)

I am now looking for short cut methods of doing house work. Grin

I used to clean my shower with Cif and a cloth after I had my shower once every fortnight Blush. I know it should probably be once a week.

I have no time at the minute to even wash my hair let alone clean the shower as DS screams blue murder when he can't see or hear me!

So I guess what I'm asking is can amyone recommend a shower cleaner I can just spray on and rinse off after an appropriate amount of time.

Thanks :)

You only have a shower once a fortnight? Shock Grin

No, the ones that you spray on after your shower are rubbish, I wouldn't waste money on them.

The only spray on one which works is the Dettol (I think) mould & mildew remover, in a green spray bottle. Spray it on and tiles and grout are clean 10 mins later (it stinks, so keep your DS well away) It's not really a shower cleaner though.

Otherwise just accept a grubbier shower til DS gets over the screaming phase (they do, honest!)

Shower with your eyes closed and ignore it.If it comes to the point of you are coming out dirty than you went in, use cillit bang on the tiles and door then when you have rinsed it off go over the door (carefully you don't want to get it on the floor) with furniture polish and a micro cloth thingy ... stays clean for ages

Thanks! I haven't cleaned the shower in months now Blush. I can't see the dirt as I'm completely blind without my glasses or contacts :) but I think it's time to get back into a routine.
I'll give DS to DH tonight and give it a good clean then use a spray to keep on top of it.
Will try the furniture polish trick!
