descaling disaster

Hi, tried to clean the bath with descaler but now left with marks even worse than before... seems to have scaled the bath rather than cleaned it.

Any idea what I could use to get the descaler off???

Try white vinegar! Also is an excellent descaler itself. I use it in my kettle, on taps and to clean a lot of stuff too.

if it is a metal bath with emaille coating Im afraid you have ruined it. you cant use proper descaler on emaille, just mild cream cleaner and elbow grease...

bugger. it is a metal bath. so nothing can be done? Sad

I think you can get enamel baths re-enamelled? But probably not much confort, sorry Sad

Yes, you can get them re-enamelled (have just been researching). There's also a DIY kit. Am so not DIY-capablefriendly though. Might just have to live with it.

I got a do it yourself kit, it is hard work but does work but bath is cleaned with natural products and no d allowed in bath due to potential damage by their water toys me overprotective of my bath ?
