What do you put in your toilet to keep it fresh?

We've just had our bathroom totally renovated and it's looking fabulous. But, what do we put in the toilet to keep it clean and fresh? We don't want to use bloo blocks because apparently they can block up the cistern. But we don't want a thing hanging off the inside of the toilet rim either. What do people do?

I just bung bleach down it every night. I can't stand those things that clip onto the side, for some reason they really irritate my eyes, and it's not like I'm getting that close to them ConfusedWink

We just clean it regularly, and flush after every use.

I'm thinking of the daily bleach routine. I too cannot stand those clip on things. We did try the duck stick on gloopy disc things in the old toilet, but they still look goddamn ugly!

i leave an air freshner block next to the loo and squirt green toilet duck down every other day or so. Does the trick for me.

Another for clean regularly and flush.
