I have lost my way a bit due to enforced rest due to injury, and need a bit of motivation.....

thanks

could you get a cleaner for a day to blitz it, so you just have to maintain it then? most people on here say little and often - there's another thread going on at the moment you might find useful. personnally i prefer the blitz it on day method as i can then see the difference.

i like systems - so clothes washing gets done if in basket. i then place in study in baskets and it gets sorted once a week. in the meantime people know where it is if they need anything.

storage - make sure you have what you need. do you have piles of stuff - if so invest in storage for it.

work out where the most mess/dirt is and focus on that. get rid of as much junk as possible and don't have too many ornaments as they need dusting. decide what you can cut corners on - eg ironing.

make children responsible for their rooms - kick things back into their rooms and close the door.

decide which rooms you want to be tidy and where its not so crucial. ask people to tidy their stuff - if they don't put in black bin bag in garage.

sory these are more like tips. if you need motivation i'd pick one room and blitz that which might then encourage you to another the next day
