Pot calling kettle...

I'm looking for pot recommendations - hubby has announced that ours our substandard and we need BIGGER ones as the kids grow... I am somewhat bemused by this sudden interest in something he never has anything to do with, but hey, he's paying.

I am very anti-aluminium since it's linked to alzheimers and we have a lot of it in our family. Every blooming pan seems to have it in it now.

So I am looking for a big stock pot style 5 litre job - any suggestions?

So far I can't quite bring myself to spend £120 on one Le Creuset pan...

Ikea is your friend

The 365 series has stainless steel, stainless steel with non stick, and aluminium.

We have this one, perfect for casseroles started on the hob. We have a Le Creuset, but don't use it as often as this.

It's got aluminium in it - it's really weird, you'd never used to find it in stainless steel pots but now they ALL have it!

IKEA 365 range has aluminium. Bummer, lots like it's back to the drawing board.

Embrace Le Creuset. You will thank yourself for years to come.

Do you find them very heavy? I'm thinking of lugging the big pots around it might really screw up my back....

Erm, well, TBH, if our really big one is full of something I get DH to move it Blush
