Laundry baskets?

Talk to me about laundry baskets?

Which do you use? Where from? How much? etc etc

Mine all break and I'm looking for some inspiration

I use bags for the dirty washing. Sort of like this
Great for space as you can hang them up on a hook on the back of the door or off the end of bed etc
And can chuck them down the stairs.

I'm fed up of disintergratng laundry baskets and so I recently bought one of these

It was ridiculously expensive. But it lovely. (And I do know how sad it is to get excited about a laundry bin.)

I was thinking about bags Paisley but I don't think they'd be very practical for our house. DD puts her own washing out to wash and she would be able to reach those unfortunately.

However, I too am excited about the Brabantia one neolara. I may have to have a word with DH about that!

We currently have a cheapy argos one one a metal frame on wheels, which is handy as were in a one level flat but it isn't sturdy at all and the bag is ripped and hanging on by a thread.

Are the wicker ones any good?

You don't have to hang bags out of reach btw.

me too southeastastra, had it for about 10 years as well..
Ds has one of those pop up ones from Ikea in his room, its great because its small, it doesnt get too heavy so he can fetch it down himself when i ask him.
