...realised DS2 had no clean polo shirt for school (about 15 min sbefore I needed to leave for work). Hadn't sorted it night before; assumed was one in drawer. Not so!

Wet ones on drying rack (v rainy here last 3 days), ironing basket empty ( - but only becasue all the laundry was wet!)...

So I pulled yesterday's out of the laundry basket and got him to put it on!

Now a) have you ever done this b) can you give me a more slatternly action to make me feel better?

that's not slatternly - it's common sense (unless he'd worn for the last 2 weeks)

Gosh I need to find out from DS2's best mate's mum - she does all her ironing the same day she's my hero

I presume it wasn't actually visibily dirty (you know last nights spag bol down the front)

Slatternly would have been grabbing a damp cloth/baby wipes and desparately scrubbing the spag bol off

No, DS2 sweet-smelling 7yo and polo not as such dirty (as has jumper on top in this weather).

Always clean on each day tho (unlike jumper and trousers I hasten to add) so I felt a bit bad!
