Keeping a new bathroom looking new........is this realistic?

We recently had a new bathroom installed - lovely shiny chrome, pale tiles, glass shower screen etc. It looks beautiful and I want it to stay that way. Am I deluding myself?! Is cleaning it once a week going to be enough to keep it looking lovely?

Normal clean once a week and an eco cloth for in between. Use a shower squeedgee after every shower. Watch the sealant round the shower....that will be the first to look less clean.

thanks - we are using a squeejy thing and daily spray and I think this is helping. Good tip re the sealant, though I don't want to be too overzealous cleaning it in case I erode it away!

Makemine, our bathroom is being fitted this week and I had exactly the same thoughts "how long before it looks grubby etc" .
Scurryfunge, what is an eco cloth? The taps we're having fitted say don't use anything but water to clean them (?!!) and the bath says only a dilute version of vinegar. I wish I'd know this before, I might have thought twice about the choice.

You only need water with an ecocloth and the taps, etc come up really well.

this sort of thing

I like the look of those! Do you know if they are abrasive in any way? Tap instructions very clear that no sort of scratchy thing was to be used.

They are a soft fleecey type material - not abrasive.
