How to remove fat splash off wool?

I stupidly splashed my new wool jumper yesterday with hot olive oil,i washed it straight away on a wool wash but the splashes are still there.

Its a very fine knit jumper & its quite slim fitting so the splashes can be obviously seen.

Anyone?

You've already done what I would have advised you not ot: put it contact with water. I used to have a really good dry cleaner who told me that dry cleaning was good at getting grease out but it was much easier if there had been no contact with water.

You could still try though.

Oh balls!! I will take it into town today & see what the dry cleaners recommend.

Thanks anyway.

For future reference, I have found that dabbing a fresh grease stain with a wet wipe first seems to make it easier to come out.
