synthetic carpet

Hi everyone,

I am decorating my son's new bedroom. Have been looking into bright colourful flooring and the one I like the most its a synthetic carpet -Vorwek brand- Have any of you used it? Any advice? Yay or nay?

My instinct tells me to go for more natural flooring but our old carpet is quite dirrrty with calpol stains, pee stains etcc... the carpet salesman assures me that synthetic carpets clean very well..

Not sure what to do so I was wondering if you could provide with some advice.

I would buy only ones with a good % of wool- lambs wool. Has a better feel to it!

Thwey do clean very well and unless you are a carpet connoisseur, no one will think it's inferior in any way.

Thanks for your comments. To be honest the only reason why i am considering synthetic is because i really like the bonkers colours that particular brand offers. Wool carpets are almost all in washed out colours. I like bright green and red for my sons' playroom.
Any of you know of any wool carpets in bright colours?
