Anyone else got one of these?

Thought it was a good investment at the time, but the lid has now broken for the third time.

I know you can send it off and have it replaced, but it's a PITA.

Serves us right for buying a poncey bin I suppose.

Serves you right indeed! Couldn't bring myself to spend that much money on a rubbish receptacle. Just bought a perfectly nice maHOOsive 50L chrome bin from Homebase for about £30 (you do have to use hands though).

Seriously annoying though, isn't it? Especially when you buy a supposedly reputable brand.

I'm sure their motto is something along the lines of "No-one outlives a Brabantia sensor bin"
