anyone know how to get hair dye out of clothes?

Hi all my friend splashed some dark hair dye onto a pair of my fave green jeans is there anyway I can get it out? Thanks

I did this to a favourite t-shirt and it never recovered!

you can get a product called colourB4 that strips hair dye out of hair - maybe you could use it on your jeans (dont know if it would work but if they really are your fave jeans it may be worth a try)

I found that if you keep washing it, after many times (10 or so) it does come out of towels.

I do have a T-shirt (Glasto 95) that still has dye on the back of it though. It must have been washed 1000 times.

so... perm or semi perm? Because you need to wash it with shampoo a LOT (or fairy liquid) before you wash it in the machine, otherwise you'll fix it.

If it's permanent, I'm sorry, but I think you've no chance.

You could over dye the jeans, but maybe no point if it's the green that makes them favourites.
