Help! Carpet nightmare...

My 10 month old DD very kindly gouged out a handful of compact foundation this morning and has left little fingerprints of orange across my wool carpet. Clever girl!
How do I get it out? Professional clean?

professinal cleaners are ace - they got red wine out of my cream carpet. if you try loads of products out on it and then call them in i think it can make it harder for them to shift stains - or maybe that was just their sales pitch?!

methalated spirit on a cloth, give a rub, gets it up as it gets the oil out which is in the makeup.

My D hasn't seen it yet so I wanted a solution to mitigate the mess. At least I know she can reach a bit further than I thought.
