Pet shops sell a product called Simple Solution which is aimed at getting rid of nasty smells such as cat wee. On the bottle it states that it also gets rid of the smell of vomit. You literally soak the area in the solution and leave to dry, if you can still smell it then the product hasn't reached the area where the odour is.

DS was sick on his carpit last night, I thoroughly cleaned the area then used this solution. It has now dried out and I cannot smell any sick. Well worth a try. They sell it in our small local pet shop but do quite a big range in bigger pet stores like Pets at Home. Don't be put off by the fact it's aimed at pet smells it really does get rid of yucky smells.

I had a nasty sick incident in the car and keeping a few tumble dry sheets in the car got rid of the smell (it was the only time that I have ever bought them). Driving with the window open helps too of course!

Get it cleaned professionally, I have a special 'sick man' that has cleaned 2 of my mini's now after dc's vom-fests.
he does it again if the smell doesnt completely go.
Not sure what he uses, but charges £20, comes to the house and is easy on the eye Grin job done

Easy on the eye man sounds much more exciting than using Simple Solution Grin.
