Body Shop Body Butter rubbed into new carpet-any ideas?

DS found a new way to amuse himself while I was in the shower. Half a tub of body butter rubbed into my wool mix twist.

Have tried sponging/rubbing with Fairy Liquid solution, is still too wet to see if has worked, but am guesing there will still be greasy marks. Anything else to try, or shall I go and hire a Rug Doctor this morning?

Would that Vanish Carpet spray do it? I think that's supposed to take out grease. You may have to do it a couple of times, but it might be worth a try.

Or what about ironing it, with a paper towel between the carpet and the iron. That would melt it surely and soak up into the paper towel.

Once it's dry use talc which soaks up grease and vacuum off.
