My dishwasher has suddenly stopped working properly and dishes are coming out with grit and food stuck to them as if with glue. It's like it's been baked on. I have checked the filter and nothing seems to be stuck in there, and DH put in more salt, but it hasn't helped. Any ideas? It was a gift from a friend who had moved house and didn't need it any more, and it worked perfectly for the first 5 months (sigh). Not sure how old it is. The food is stuck even to cups/glasses etc that went in relatively clean, just had been used for juice/tea, so it's not just that it isn't washing the food off plates, it is actively sticking it to things as well. Am pregnant and was reading posts on here and pluming myself on having a dishwasher as believed it would help massively, and am now sad.
