eh? width 40 cms that surely cannot be

I have a feeling I am being very dense - but this is saying the width of the bookcase is 40cms wide? How can that be? Unless that means that is the width of one little cubby hole and then you just multiply by four?

they are a kit, it is 1 of kit A and 3 of kit B so you have to add them together.

bluecardi · 15/10/2010 11:02

it's the measurement of the shelf from the wall to the end of shelf

ChasingSquirrels · 15/10/2010 11:03

Kit A having both sides, so being wider than kit B which is the add on with only 1 side.

they look very nice.
I just got this for our new playroom which I am really pleased with.

"A collection of contemporary-style open bookcases - 1 wide and 3 narrow"

Kit A is 40cm wide - the wide cubbyhole, of which you get 1

Kit B is 36cm wide - the narrow cubbyholes, of which you get 3

Full width is 1 x 40 + 3 x 36 = 148 cm

And by the way I want it (and a very big house to put it in)
