Lovely bedroom for 7y.o DD

I'd like to redecorate my 7y.o DD's bedroom. It hasn't been touched since she was 1, and her tastes have changed a bit in that time!

I'm going for lilac with a carpet that the manufacturers describe as 'juniper', and I think there's going to be a recurring butterfly motif throughout the room (e.g. she has a butterfly shaped mirror already that we'd like to reuse).

But can anyone help me come up with ideas of what would make a 7 year old's bedroom really special / useable / futureproof for a little while yet?

She's currently got a bed, low bedside unit and a huge Ikea wardrobe with loads of little cupboards and drawers in it. We'll need to keep all of this.

Any ideas, or recommendations of websites would be really appreciated, TIA Smile

A little desk to do her homework/drawing on and/or a little dressing table (or a combo of both desk and dressing table) is what loved when I was a little girl.

Next had some lovely butterfly curtains last time I looked, also you can find some gorgeous butterfly wall stickers if you do a search online.

Wow, thank you all very much for finding these, she'd love them (especially a wall with her own name on!)

She's said a couple of times that she would really like a little desk, trouble is I don't know if there's really space for one. Sometimes I wonder if I'd be better off swapping her room for her brother's.

Thanks again for your suggestions.
