Help! PIL visit and house is a tip!!

PIL coming to stay tomorrow and I've been ill all week as morning sickness has come back with a vengeance at 27 weeks pregnant
House is a complete tip and needs to look at least passable by tomorrow. What things should I concentrate on and what things do you notice when guests at someone's home?

Sinks, worktops,loos--have fun!

So if they are staying the basics that have to be done are: The room they are staying in, the bathroom, the kitchen, the rest is a suface tidy and hoover dust. It can be done. I still find the timer method the best, set to 15 mins and do the room, then onto the next for 15 mins, after three lots you get 15mins to rest/mn

my very tidy friend says shine the bathroom taps and it looks better. Collect small bits of kiddy toys etc onto a tray and if you cant find where the go easily tip into a box to sort later Also get the TV dust free-good luck!

Plug in the vacuum as if you where just about to do it

If they want to come to help out explain that the smell of the polish/cleaning fluid/bleach is making you sick could they please help by doing the work tops , bathroom , floors etc
