No idea how it got there but it's there. Black mould on the rubber inner ring. Never had this problem before. How do I get rid of it?

I put a 1/4 cup full of bleach and a cup full of dishwasher salt in on a 50 degree wash and it came up like brand new!

Thanks. I dont have any dishwasher salt as no dishwasher. Is it cheap enough to buy just for this one off?

Dishwasher salt is a couple of quid for a huge bag. You could try soda crystals instead?

soniaweir · 10/10/2010 19:06

do you put the bleach straight into the drum or in the drawer?

Mowgli1970 · 10/10/2010 19:38

I don't think it matters, I put it in the drum.

I put it and the salt straight in the drum

don't put too much bleach in though as it froths up

When you say 'bleach', do you mean Domestos bleach or the kitchen cleaner bleach?
