Has anyone found a way to store "accessories" for electrical and electronic items

Every time I buy electric items (camcorder, camera, ipod etc etc) they always seem to come with extra leads, plugs, accessories that I never seem to use but don't dare to bin (in case I do need them or want to sell them). Has anyone found a neat way to store them without ending up with a tangled box of unidentified leads and bits?

Keep them in the original boxes, together with polystyrene/cardboard inner packaging. Stick them in plastic bags to protect against dust. Store in loft or top of wardrobe.

Retrieve after some time to flog on eBay.

That's how it goes in our house.... Grin

If you're not in the habit of selling your stuff after DH has got bored and wants newer model a while, then buy yourself a nice stylish box to store the accessories in. Plastic coated wires (or those sandwich bag ties) will keep cables neatly rolled. Use those large freezer bags to keep them together and write the name of the product they are allied to on the bag.

HTH.

I have a set of those plastic 3 drawers on wheels for that. It lives under the stairs, I have a second one for crap art and craft stuff etc.
