burnt on food in my le creuset HELP

hello I was making a big batch on mince the other day, went on the internet and forgot all about it until a burning smell wafted oout of the kitchen...I was mortified - it is the kind of thing my mil is always doing...have tried clening immediatley, soaking, soaking in vinegar...
Doea nayone know a surefire way to get it off?? Pleasse help.

try flat coke or it ya have an old credit card use that should get it off ,i use a old mecca bingo card works every time

thanks and I love sprouts too...I haven't seen any in the shops yet but I am waiting. I'll give the coke a go.

If it is really really burnt and you can't get it off, bury it in the garden for several weeks. The microbes in the soil will loosen all the burnt organic matter and it will be easy to clean. You need to be able to do without it for a month or so, though. And people will look at you funny if they notice that you have a pan buried in your garden. It really does work, though.

second/third biological powder, i just soak mine in it for an hour to two and it comes off perfectly. I often burn stuff forget about it while mn'ing when i am busy with the kids!

Dishwasher tablet add water and put pan on to boil

When it comes to the boil turn down heat and simmr for an hour or two

Always works Grin
