Whats the best method for removing nail polish from a carpet??

How much of it is there? A dot or a whole bottle?

If it's not much, and the pile of the carpet is relatively thick, I'd be tempted to let it dry, then snip it off.

There's a few splodges, nowhere near a whole bottle. Its a sort of woven carpet so can't snip it off. I've tried a bit of nail polish remover, but was still quite difficult to get anythng off.

I had a bottle of red nail polish explode in the sunshine on my bedroom windowsill.

I was in a rented flat with CREAM carpets and it happened when I was at work and then spent the day soaking in.

I freaked out because I thought the letting agents would so something stupid like charge me for new carpets so I phoned a carpet cleaner and explained.

They came round next day, and you would never have known it was there.

Best piece of advice; call in the specialists! Smile
