50:50 Fridge freezer

Need to replace our crap Hotpoint model as the fridge part keeps getting warm though the freezer still works. Grrrrr. I'm finding it hard to find a fridge freezer without an enormous fridge and small freezer section. Current one is 50:50 with 4 freezer drawers and would like the same but have vowed never to buy Hotpoint or Indesit again.

I can't spend too much but would like something that actually works properly. Any suggestions?

I had a Beko which was like that, can't remember which model but I was pretty pleased with it...

Probably a bit too late, but I have a 50/50 bosch fridge freezer. It is now over 10 years old, has never gone wrong and is in perfect working order. They cost a bit more but it was worth it. I previously had a candy which was utter crap and defrosted itself 3 times in 2 months (once on Christmas Eve full of all my Xmas food!).

Siemens do some fab 50/50 ones. I am just about to buy a new fridge freezer and always had 50/50 so was looking into these just last week! Went to john lewis for advice as they match price if you find it anywhere cheaper. Something like this?

Apparently it is less common now to have 50/50 ratio, there arent many makes around anymore for this ratio. More are likely to be 60/40 or 70/30. Siemens are now offering free extended waranty and john lewis will give you £50 if you trade in your old appliance! so worth considering. Hope its helpful.
