Steam Generator Irons - recommendations please

My iron has decided to call it a day. Can anyone recommend a steam generator iron. There's such a huge variation in the price range that I don't know where to start!

Philips GC8320 is a Which Best Buy as is Tefal GV8360

How much should I expect to spend? I'm looking at what seem to be mid-market irons. Also, do I need a special ironing board?

I really want to try to order something online today with next day delivery as my ironing will pile up really quickly so would appreciate advice & recommendations.

I got a Bosch one on offer in Argos which is good although I wish I had got one with a bigger water tank as it only just holds enough water for an ironing session (it is sold at £179.95 just now but I got it with £60 off). I did have to get a new ironing board as you need a bigger area to sit the generator on. Argis have a couple of Phillips irons with money off at the moment

I have a fantastic Tefal Pro Express - do not try to buy a cheap one, it will break!

Thanks! Am in the process of trying to buy the Tefal Pro Express GV8360. It seems to get really good reviews - lots of 5*'s on Amazon. Might try without the ironing board for a few days and then worry about it next week.

I had a different Tefal one for five years which did break but I hadn't looked after it properly ( you have to anti-calc it from time to time) but have had this one for about four years and it's brilliant. My cleaning lady has tried to persuade all of her customers to get one as she bought one herself after using mine and now can't bear using anything else!
