Why does my Howdens washer drier keep running a 15 minute cycle

Everytime I put my washing machine on it does something for about 10 minutes (the light saying less than 15 minutes comes on).

It then stops and I have to turn it off and turn in on again and try again. Sometimes I have to do this 5 or 6 times before it decides to wash any bloody clothes

What am I doing wrong?!?!?!?!?!?!

Had a similar problem then all my programmes started to stop working one by one. Engineer came and quickly replaced the programme thingy (sorry can't remember technical name) and said it's a common problem that they've improved now. He was replacing 3 that same morning. Rubbish but easily fixed!
