Washing Machines with a proper child lock

I've just had to return my LG washing machine Sad after DS discovered that the flashing power button could still be pushed despite the child lock being on, leaving me to restart the washing cycle 3 times (so took 4 hours to finish the load Angry). After spending hours looking at manuals in the internet, it seems that it is quite common for the child lock to not include the power button. I've had a Bosch before, which did seem to lock everything, but the buttons weren't proper buttons, just touch things, and difficult to use.
So my question is - has anyone got a washing machine with a proper child lock, and proper buttons? (Is it really too much to ask...Hmm?)

I have a hotpoint too - didn't take DS (20 months ish at the time) to work out that he could also press the button I'd just held in til it beeped... hey presto child lock released and free rein to play with all the fun on/of/other buttons to his little hearts content! :(
