leather sofa

I'm not sure if this is the right place to post this but I'm hoping someone can help.

I have a nice leather sofa with cushions which are attached, I have had guests over and we have had a urine related mishap with the sofa. I have washed the cushion it happened on and wiped it with babywipes. Is there anything else I can do? I think a soaked sleeping bag was in contact with the sofa for quite a long time and I'm worried when it dries the sofa will smell. I can't remove the cushions to let them air so I'm a bit stumped now.

yeah, obviously the piss has to dry first .... you might want to wipe it over with something like zoflora from a well wrung out cloth if it is really that bad. it wont harm the leather but will disinfect and smell nice

I bleached my leather sofa a few days ago when the dog, who had somehow managed to roll in shit without being noticed, wiped himself all over it

T'is fine and not smelly at all. I also clean it using leather cleaner and a splash of disinfectant quite often.

Shiney, yuk at dog shit on sofa, I got rid of baby poo on it and that was bad enough. Iv washed the sofa, used vinegar and it still smells :( bleach even diluted marked it. It's made me really sad as they were my mums sofas. Trying not to be angry with friend for peeing on sofa but struggling.

Oh my sofa is white, so there was no colour to bleach. You could try patch testing some disinfectant? Or biological washing powder.

I'm going to have another go with vinegar, tried zoflora as other poster mentioned but it discoloured the underneath bit. Il try dilute disinfectant if it doesn't work. Also had to wash sheet, sleeping bag, pillows. It's been a real pita.
