How often do you vacuum your matress?

I'm ashamed to say i've just hoovered my matress for the first time ever, and felt sick by the amount of dust (and presumable mites, bedbugs etc) that came out of it!
How often does everyone else Hoover theirs?

Whenever I change the sheets I give it a quick vacuum. Have mattress tool and agree it's a bit shocking to see what comes out (and having a Dyson means it is very visible!)

Occassionally. Say every couple of months.

Every time i change the bed. I turn it over and upside down too.

It was a very pricey one and it is meant to prolong it's life. Always more comfy after turning it (two man job though) and sleep better knowing it's had a good hoover.

carpets! did i really just say carpets? see how alien it is to me to hoover our mattresses.....

I've never heard of this, but now I know I must do it immediately! But I can't, DS is asleep. OMG how am I going to sleep on my uncovered mattress!?

Uncovered? I mean unhoovered - stooooopid iPhone!
