crayon on a blackboard

One of the kids has scribbled in crayon on our blackboard rendering it pretty useless!

Any thoughts on how to remove it?

I've just cleaned mine!

Used an aerosol called Sticky Stuff Remover, sprayed and scrubbed off with kitchen roll. Some bits needed doing over and over again, but it all came off.

It left a bit of a greasy residue, but that was easily washed off with warm soapy water.

It looks as good as new.

V. quick fix: Babywipe/s and elbow grease; then scrub down with damp cloth to get rid of oily sheen afterwards
