There's a lovely local farmer who sprays his fields with human poo annually. Not only is the stench vomit inducing but there's always an infestation of flies. How people put up with this I don't know?
Dp has been onto the council this morning to complain (we only moved into dp's house recently) He's never been around enough to notice it before.
So, the flies were horrendous. I've tried everything to kill them, even fly papers which only got a few. I was sat on the loo and picked up Mr Muscle and squirted one of the buggers 
Result!! So now I'm going round like some mad hunter zapping them all. It's good in that I just get a paper towel and wipe up the fly. Sounds cruel I suppose but it's better than those awful fly papers, they suffer for ages on them.
