Have been given a voucher for the real rug company as a housewarming present and they have LOVELY looking flokati rugs - am just a bit dubious about them looking jaded rapidly and molting everywhere..
here is one of them

hmm not sure if that will have worked..

or would one like this

will be impressed if anyone else actually cares about my rug situation Grin

the first is lovely but I agree it may look shite after a while-depends on kids/dogs etc and how good you are at not spilling stuff

nice present

I do like the second one but the colour is a bit drab

sorry have no experience but love rugs

MollieO · 19/09/2010 22:33

My parents had one of these years ago. My mother hated it as it molted all over the place.

Lovely rugs, but they do moult. I am not in the least houseproud and had to chuck one out as I was so sick of the fluff.

Ah ok, that settles it - no flokati for us. No dogs but 2 pretty messy little people + moulting (thanks for spelling correctly there Horton - I thought it didnt look rightGrin) don't sound a great combo..

yes, i'm not that keen on the colour of the second one but i like the sound of the pile!
I am so not into housey stuff/interiors, I am surprised at myself for being so selective about rugs!

it moulted as well Grin.

Weirdly we used to find bits of it some distance from the rug itself and could never work out how it got there (no one was allowed to actually walk on the rug).
