This is without doubt the most random and boring thread I've posted!

Oh well, here goes...

I cleaned my sink today and was mucho proud of myself, then put my white plastic washing up bowl back in and it instantly looked crap again!
I thought about chucking it, but I don't like not having one and I don't have the storage to hide it away when it's not being useed.

Sooooo, does anyone have a washing up bowl that isn't pound shop hell?

God, I hate myself for caring about this! Blush

I've just arrived in Australia and having a heck of a time trying to find a washing up bowl. We have a double sink - but they are HUGE. Takes ages to fill up with water. I'd much rather refill a smaller washing up bowl several times and have nice clean water.

When I ask in the shops here they don't know what I'm talking about Confused
I do like the red rubber one and the Lakeland clear ones!

i use one but thought they were so you use less water as they are generally smaller than the sink Confused

I've never had a bowl and don't really see the point in having one but then I wash dishes under running water. If I need to soak something I will put the plug into the sink and wash some dishes under the running water and the sink fills up and soaks the dishes that are in there. Then I will wash them under running water.

I know people that soak their dishes/cups etc in a bowl of washing up liquid wash them in the same water and don't even rinse the dishes just take them out and put on the drainer covered in washing up liquid suds. It was disgusting. I couldn't drink out of the cup and I'm not even that bothered about cleaning!! Why would they wash the dishes in that water and not rinse them off!!!!!!!

But my mum never had a bowl and I wash up the same way she does Smile
