Pedal Bins Not Made of Steel

My DH would really like a small, relatively stylish, but still affordable pedal bin which is not stainless steel, as they always go rusty in the bathroom. I thought I would get him one for our anniversary, but I could not find any.

We saw one abroad, but I refused to squeeze a half-ceramic contraption into my luggage.

Should I just get him a box of chocolate instead? Hmm

For a bathroom? there are threads about such things, I understand.... Smile

It's quite easy to find small plastic pedal bins for a bathroom. I've also seen small rattan ones with flip-lids (like a mini-picnic-basket) somewhere, can't recall where.

Thanks AuntGertrude, I'll try to find the thread.

Sorry - I was referring to a thread (about 'having guests to stay' a few weeks ago) where a good many people were horrified at the idea of a bin in a bathroom. Some people apparently loathe them.

We have them in my house though Smile

Have you tried IKEA? We got a nice one for our bedroom a couple of weeks ago Smile IKEA can deliver from their website now too I believe. Even eBay might be worth a look in?

I have already taken out a subscription for The Economist for him, and we booked a posh dinner just for the two of us. The bin is just a small addition, potplant. It the bee in his bonnet Wink

I'll have a look at IKEA, Judypink. Thanks.
