Trying to get my online shop done and want to try and plan dinners for 2 weeks - can't cook to save myself and as we don't get in the house till 5ish on school days need to be quick and easy so DD isn't starving by the time it's ready. So far have:
Baked potato, beans, cheese
Tuna pasta
Fish cakes, oven chips and veg
Home made pizza
(can you make the pizza bases and freeze them?)
Can anyone suggest anything to fill up another 6 days or so? And does what I've got so far look OK nutrition wise (although I've been doing these above to death for ages and she's healthy enough I think Smile)
Always have fresh fruit for after so we don't really bother about puddings but does anyone have any ideas for easy healthy puds we could have once in a while?.

Thought about spag bol but DD tells me when she gets it a school dinners she just takes the spag plain without the sauce as she doesn't like the 'saucey stuff' Confused Doesn't sound like a tasty lunch to me but hey!

there is a mango chicken recipe on here that is brilliant. It's so quick and easy. I started serving it with rice but this week tried it with couscous as that makes it even quicker to prepare. I serve with some broccoli.

Yes you can definitely freeze pizza bases - I make up the dough in bread maker, shape and cook for a short time, cool and freeze.

Tortilla - so quick to make and you can throw in all sorts. I made one recently with potatoes as usual and about 4 types of cheese which all needed using up, was delicious.

Mango chicken - you can also make it with mango chutney if you don't have any fresh mangoes.

I'm doing the same right now my two week list is mostly...

chicken curry
tuna pasta bake
roast chicken
risotto (with leftover chicken)
macaroni cheese
beef stir fry
sausages, mash and veg
pasta with bacon, veg and tomato sauce
chicken drumstick casserole (throw in slow cooker type affair)
spag bol
omlette, pasta and sauce, peas
pizza
fajitas

some of which are being repeated

Forgot about macaroni cheese Bumpy - about the ONLY thing I can 'cook' is a yummy cheese sauce from scratch - just love macaroni cheese browned nicely under the grill [hungry]
