Freaking out a bit after reading about bed bug increase.....

I hoover, wash bedding (60 deg) regulary but I have been reading a few articles recently about a world wide increase in bed bugs.....

Got me thinking would it be obvious if we had them? Wouold we all be covered in itchy bites?

Off to inspect the bed :(

I hoover regularly and wash at 60, we have a wooden frame bed and i keep looking for little holes or marks or anything lol! The thought of it makes me feel sick haha

Oh I read an article about this recently and I am spending a weekend in New York in November where they are apparently bloody everywhere.

Not seen article - just supposing a world wide increase in bed bugs, are they that big a deal? (genuine question)

My MIL's friends in London had bed bugs a few years ago.They travel a lot and had probably brought them home in a suitcase.
