how to remove white board pen from white polo shirts!

Help! Anyone?

White board pen is water based, I think so should be a normal wash.

white board pen doesnt come out of anything i dont think. neither do pastels. hmmm. items ruined and not even a full week into school. i just decide that if it is ruined there it has to return there !

Try dabbing a little bit of bleach on the penmarks, then put it in the wash.

I cant get whiteboard marker off of the shirts either. Actually I cant seem to get anything pen/paint based off the bloody shirts. Now I just chuck them out.

Just searched web. Found some tips but not sure if they work but keeping a mental note for myself.
Spray hairspray and blot with paper before washing.
Don't tumble dry until stain removed other wise it will set the stain.

this stuff is the bane of my life!!

it stained the school red jumper....logo so £9 each....within 3 days of returning

i have decided to buy the plain matalan £2.50 ones from now on

what was so wrong with blackboards anyway??
