how to remove white board pen from white polo shirts!

he he I read that as how to remove white pen from a white polo shirt. Don't know the answer but it made me smile.

I've never managed it!

Bin the shirt. I've tried two different brands of vanish and have left the shirts to soak for 2 days in a mixture of water and napisan. Although the stains faded they did not disappear. I only found out afterwards that my son didn't need to use the whiteboard pen. Apparently, the teacher gives them the option of using a whiteboard or pencil and paper. Might be worth having a word to see if this is the case in your school too.

The best results I had were with a combo of stain devils (biro remover ones) mixed with many doses of the liquid vanish which I would pour on and leave to dry several times before I washed them. If the pen has only touched the shirt briefly this does tend to come out. If it's been left in contact for a few seconds then it's in the bin as even neat bleach won't touch it .

My DS wrote off 5 shirts last year and by day 2 of this year had written off yet another! Worse still our school has just decided to change our white shirts to special coloured ones which cost £5 each!! You can tell that the parent governers who haven't got a braincell between them thought that one through haven't got young kids of their own

try shout stain remover spray. i haven't found anything that won't wash out if you spray this on it first - puke, poop, curry, tomato etc.
