Moths & pregnancy. Please help!

We had a moth infestation a couple of years ago. Went through the whole process, starting with lavender/cedarwood. The urgh home chemical sprays. Finally ripped up carpets, got a pro to spray everywhere, and carefully washed, or chucked all clothing etc.

So, now the little fuckers are back, but this time I am 12 weeks pregnant. Obviously I want to get rid of them asap, but am worried about the effect of various chemicals or treatments. I know there have been lots of threads here about moths before, but having read [most of] them, I couldn't see anything specific relating to pregnancy or babies.

Also feeling very emotional and retch whenever I come face to face with the little maggoty bastards. Feeling very sorry for myself Sad

Does anyone have any suggestions or info?

I had this problem and it was a nightmare.

Mine were in the kitchen, so I had to chuck out any carbs - cereal, rice, pasta, pulses, spices and also kitchen towels and paper napkins, as they seemed to be breeding there.

In the end sticky pheromone traps did for them, similar to these.

Thanks very much for replying Jaybird, and especially for that link - I hadn't heard of those types of traps before.

Have now taken action and ordered a kit, so hopefully will be sorted soon.

Mine are just clothes moths I think, and I'm squeamish enough with that - kitchen infestation, urgh. Must have been horrible.

Colibri
I use these as I'm assumingHmm that they're relatively safe/non-toxic.

I still get holes in clothes but think these are working in the wardrobes/drawers in which I use them.

I get them from Hangerworld via Amazon.
