Over the holidays I have been doing little and often but hoping now to get more organised with all the school runs!
So a typical day..
Older DCS get up and dressed, go down and have breakfast.
I shower, Dh showers and I change/feed the baby
Kid do teeth and hair while I do the breakfast dishes
Kids pack school bags
Shoes and socks on and we are out the door
Monday - housework(more on that later)
Tuesday - class for DD
Wednesday - groceries and errands
Thursday - housework
Friday - playgroup
Lunchtime I collect one DC and we come home and have lunch, baby naps etc and I spend time with DC
Then school run again at 3.
Home again and we do snack, homework I prepare dinner while DC play or watch tv
Bath dinner and bed for DCs
After all the DC are in bed I do the dinner dishes, meat out for tomorrow, lay out clothes, pack lunches and do a general tidy up.
Each day I cook, sweep, do a load or two of washing, iron, a general tidy through all the rooms, tidy the bathroom and wipe over, make beds etc just to keep ticking over. Empty bins as needed.
On Housework days I sweep, mop, vacuum, bathrooms and toilets, dust and any other big jobs that need doing (sheet, windows, sweep outside, wash couch covers)
Does this sound ok? Am I doing enough? I am so out of routine I worry I have missed something and cant remember what to add to my list of things to do on my housework days!
(obviously the toilets get done more if they needed it!)
What do you think?
