Milk spilt on the carpet

and no vax etc. to clean it. I thought we'd got most of it up but it would appear from the smell I was mistaken. Any idea how I can get this clean?

Sponge it again with cold water, then sprinkle with Bicarbonate of soda... get it in a chemist or the cake section at your supermarket. Leave it for a couple of hours until dry and then vacuum

Bi-carb is a great de-odoriser
