smelly wellies?

is there any cure?
I would like to use them again for DS2 when he will grow up.

I was thinking about soapy water in each wellies , shake them and rinse and dry?
or should i use bicarb diluted in water instead of soapy water?

A thick layer of bicarb left in overnight and some barbecue charcoal (you might have to shake it out and do this a second night) then charcoal insoles. (Odour eaters or similar)

Wash the outsides and soles of the wellies too.
